Lograr 11.000 pasos al d\u00eda tambi\u00e9n reducir\u00eda a la mitad el riesgo de alcanzar un estado de obesidad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Explicando c\u00f3mo se llev\u00f3 a cabo el estudio estuvo el Dr. Evan Brittain (divisi\u00f3n de medicina cardiovascular de Vanderbilt University Medical Center di Nashville, Tennessee, Usa), ante los micr\u00f3fonos de la CNN, la emisora estadounidense m\u00e1s famosa. En la edad adulta, el aumento de peso var\u00eda entre medio kilo y medio kilo cada a\u00f1o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Se control\u00f3 a 6.000 participantes en el programa de investigaci\u00f3n All of Us del National Institutes of Health. Los sujetos llevaban un dispositivo que controlaba sus h\u00e1bitos diarios durante un m\u00ednimo de 10 horas al d\u00eda, adem\u00e1s de tener que poner sus historiales m\u00e9dicos a disposici\u00f3n de los investigadoresLos investigadores tambi\u00e9n se\u00f1alaron que las personas que caminan al menos 6,4 km cada d\u00eda (8.200 pasos m\u00e1s o menos) no s\u00f3lo corren menos riesgo de padecer obesidad, sino tambi\u00e9n de desarrollar otras enfermedades t\u00edpicas de la edad adulta y el envejecimiento, como la apnea del sue\u00f1o, el reflujo \u00e1cido y el trastorno depresivo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Eso s\u00ed, tener sobrepeso no es lo mismo que ser obeso.
